Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Installer
- Required Skills:
- Mechanical, building and construction knowledge.
- Ability to use hand tools, threading, grooving and soldering tools is essential to modify pipes.
- Ability to understand blue prints.
- Strong attention to details is essential to prevent injuries on the job.
- Knowledge of national codes for pipe specification to make sure automatic fire sprinkler systems are installed correctly and safely.
- Organized with strong time management skills.

- $18.00 to $50.00 an hour depending on experience

Currently Looking For A
Fire Sprinkler Sales & Estimator
- Job Responsibilities:
- Review construction project plans, requirements, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates to provide plans, permits and installation of a Fire Sprinkler System.
- Attend job walks and construction meetings as needed.
- Secure plans and designs for developing pricing and proposals, acquire subcontract pricing, and comply with codes and permits.
- Maintain contact with subcontractors of various trades and work to expand list of qualified subcontractor.
- Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Define customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.
- Submit all required sales reports, data, expenses, and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner
- Conduct coordination with other departments to ensure proper handover of job information
- Manage projects as needed (i.e. change orders/field issues).
- Job Qualifications:
- Five or more years’ experience in sprinkler sales, design and/or project management is required.
- Experience in commercial, residential and industrial areas of fire protection industry is preferred.
- NICET certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of applicable state and local codes and relevant NFPA standards.
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong computer skills, excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter with ability to use independent judgment
- Team player - willing to coordinate with other departments in the company, with owners and General Contractors.
- Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.
- Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background and reference check
Currently Looking For A
Plumber Apprentice
- Required Skills:
- Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units and dishwashers.
- Able to perform hydrostatic and pressure tests to locate leakage
- Adept at utilizing and maintaining plumbing tools and equipment
- Execute plumbing orders using blueprints and drawings
- Skilled in measuring and cutting different size pipes
- Works well independently and without supervision
- Maintain accurate records and daily activity reports
